Canvas in the Woods

Nestled in the quiet woods just outside of Montreal, this cabin is a celebration of warmth, texture, and timeless character. The renovation and new addition honor the richness of the original logs while introducing soft, elegant interiors that elevate the space with a sense of understated luxury. The new addition enhances the home’s intimacy and flow, offering private, serene spaces bathed in light, while maintaining a dialogue with the existing structure. Large windows frame views of the surrounding landscape, bringing the outdoors in and filling the cabin with a luminous calm. Every detail, from the textures underfoot to the subtle interplay of light and shadow, has been considered to create a timeless sanctuary where character, comfort, and elegance coexist seamlessly.
